Visa Úc - Các chương trình Advanced Diploma được duyệt visa ưu tiên (SVP) kể từ ngày 23/11/2014

VISA ưu tiên được xét cấp khi học sinh nộp đơn vào 1 trong 115 trường uy tín được Bộ Di trú Úc công nhận cho các chương trình Cao đẳng, Cử nhân, Thạc sỹ và Tiến sỹ.


Ngày 24/03/2012, Chính phủ Úc đã thông qua hệ thống xét VISA ưu tiên – SVP viết tắt của "Streamline Visa Processing", với 41 trường đại học tại Úc tham gia. 

Sinh viên khi đăng ký theo học các khóa học cử nhân hay thạc sỹ của các trường nằm trong hệ thống SVP sẽ không cần nộp hồ sơ chứng minh tài chính khi làm hồ sơ xin Visa đi du học. Nói cách khách, việc kiểm tra tình hình tài chính của sinh viên sẽ do trường thực hiện, nếu trường thấy sinh viên có đủ khả năng tài chính để hoàn thành khóa học, trường sẽ cấp LO và CoE cho sinh viên và sau đó Lãnh sự quán sẽ xét hồ sơ sinh viên theo dạng SVP – VISA ưu tiên.
 
Tính đến tháng 11/2014, đã có thêm 74 trường cao đẳng nghề tham gia vào hệ thống trên, nâng tổng số trường lên 115, mở rộng cơ hội xét visa ưu tiên cho cả các chương trình cao đẳng nghề (diploma, advanced diploma)

Trong quá trình xét duyệt hồ sơ dạng SVP, mặc dù sinh viên không phải kèm theo các hồ sơ tài chính nhưng Lãnh sự quán vẫn có quyền yêu cầu sinh viên cung cấp bằng chứng về tình hình tài chính của gia đình nếu thấy cần thiết.
